The 2007 Pontiac Solstice is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in two trims, the Convertible and the GXP Convertible.

Upon introduction, the Convertible is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 177-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The GXP Convertible is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 260-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
